Do we absolutely need two different host : ubuntu18.04 for tx2 and ubuntu 22.04 for orin nx?
Is there perhaps a way to flash both module on the same ubuntu22.04 host ?

I would recommend dual booting. However, it might be possible to use a VM for the 18.04. There are a lot of possible problems with that though, and NVIDIA does not support this. There are also quite a few different VM vendors, and all of them are different. If you do go with a VM, then this detail will matter a lot: During flash USB disconnects and reconnects. This means that not only would the VM require seeing the Jetson to start flash, the VM would also have to automatically reacquire the USB device if it drops out and comes back. There is also the need for a lot of spare disk space.
