Flashing issues orin nx 8gb

Hello,

I am tryint to flash my orin nx 8gb, but I am getting stuck on

Step 3: Start the flashing process, which eventually times-out

What does this mean ?

Its not the dev kit carrier board, is a custom one : Jetson Orin NX & Orin Nano Carrier Board - DSBOARD-ORNX | Forecr.io

I also included their BSP files as per instructed here: Jetson Orin NX & Orin Nano Carrier Board - DSBOARD-ORNX | Forecr.io

It seems that I am able to create the image, but then I get stuck on that step.

I am also quite sure that the device is in recovery mode as per reported with lsusb

Are you using a VM? This causes USB to fail most of the time.

Do you get the customized BSP packages?

Could you share the steps you do?
Or the flash log from host side for further check?

I just kept re-trying and eventually it worked, so I guess the usb cable was at fault.
