Hi, I need to repartition the SSD on my Orin NX 16 GB (j4012 from seeed studio), and for that purpose I need to boot from USB (currently booting from said SSD, thus can’t repartition when it’s in use).
I tried Nvidia SDK Manager but I don’t know if that’s the way to go – I need to connect my orin nx to start the process in the GUI, and then I choose some local path for download and USB for flashing but SDK Manager gets stuck at 99% “creating OS image” (tried several times)
Is SDK Manager the proper way to go?
Is there any documentation on how to flash to USB?
Hi,
If the device cannot be flashed/booted, please refer to the page to get uart log from the device: Jetson/General debug - eLinux.org
And get logs of host PC and Jetson device for reference. If you are using custom board, you can compare uart log of developer kit and custom board to get more information.
Also please check FAQs: Jetson AGX Orin FAQ
If possible, we would suggest follow quick start in developer guide to re-flash the system: Quick Start — NVIDIA Jetson Linux Developer Guide 1 documentation
And see if the issue still persists on a clean-flashed system.
Thanks!
Hi, sorry trying to understand if you understood my question, I am not flashing the device (that I have done already), I am trying to flash to a USB drive
