try to flash the Drive AGX, here is what i do:

  1. config minicom in host
  2. connect the AGX via USB debug interface;
  3. launch SDK manager in host
    4, try to flash

and here is the problem:

is there something wrong with my operation?
thanks!

Dear @zhangkecheng,
You had issue in connect via minicom or flashing? If it is with flashing, could you share the flashing logs?

i think the minicom is OK because i can see the logs during the launch of Xavier.
i cant share the flash log because the SDKmanager shows : no board connected.

Dear @zhangkecheng,
Could you share lsusb output?

here is the lsusb info:

Dear @zhangkecheng ,
This is strange. I could see the board is detected(Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT4232H Quad HS USB-UART/FIFO IC) in lsusb log and assuming you have connected AGX platform and not PX2. Could you check after rebooting both host and target?

i have rebot the the host and target…still can not connect…

Dear @zhangkecheng,
As I understand, the board is connected and able to access via minicom. Could you check go ahead flashing? Does it work? I assume you are using latest SDKmanager release.

i use SDK manager 1.5.0.7774.
i have flased with another host.
And my PC could connect with the target via minicom but the SKD manager still shows “no board”.
hope Nvidia could solve the problem.
thanks!

Dear @zhangkecheng,
Could you share output of lsb_release -a? I don’t see any issue with SDK manager 1.5.0.7774 on ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS.

  • Have you clicked refresh button under Target hardware?
  • What happened when you try to flash from your host? (though it shows no board detected).
  • Do you see board getting detected from another host used for flashing with sdkmanger 1.5.0.7774?

i have clicked refresh, but nothing happened;
i am worried about destroy the current Drive OS in target, so i will try to flash with my host next time;
yes, the board is detected from another host with the same version SDK manager.

Dear @zhangkecheng,
I don’t think there is issue with board as it is getting detected from another host. Just try to flash the target next time and get back to us if you notice any issue.
