Flashing the Os of the Jetson Nano (4GB RAM 16G eMMC) with the host machine

I want to flash the os of the nvidia jetson nano using virtual machine (ubuntu 18.04) with sdk manager, but during the flashing process in sdk manager, the installing of the packages (writting process) stopps. I am using virtual machine ubuntu 18.04 for writing the os on jetson, since i dont have access to the ubuntu 18.04 os main machine. I used main machines of ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04, but I got notification in sdk manager saying that there is no release for the ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04.
I would be grateful if you help me.
Genetrally, can i use virtual machine to write the os or no? If yes how?

thanks

No, the VM is not supported. However some users did get it flash via VM, you can refer to Flashing Jetson Nano 2GB with VM

BTW, for Jetson Nano, only Ubuntu18.04 release.
