For the BF3 sku 900-9D3B6-00CV-AA0, can it support optical transceiver 200G FR4, or 200G SR4?

Trying to find out what type of optical transceiver this BF3 sku supports.

What is the maximum power available through the QSFP56 ports? Is it 5W or more?

Can it handle the InnoLight T-FX4FNT-HFB 200Gb/s QSFP56 FR4 (~6.5W)? Can it handle 200G SR4 (~5.5W)?

Essentially trying to find out what permutation of optical transceiver can the BF3 SKU 900-9D3B6-00CV-AA0 handle.

Hello thomas.li2,

Thank you for posting your inquiry on the NVIDIA Developer Forum - Infrastructure and Networking - Section.

For validated/tested cables and transceiver, please review the following link → Firmware Compatible Products - NVIDIA Docs

Unfortunately, the InnoLight transceiver you mentioned is not a validated cable/transceiver.

Thank you and regards,

Thanks you for the response, briefly went through the supported 200G optical Q56 tranceivers, the common thread is that they are all under 5W, i.e. between 4.35W and 4.55W. From the Lenovo’s connetx-7 spec, it shows the power per Q56 port as around 5W. The supported 200G optical transceiver on this list seems to match that understanding.
