Force reflash of Jetson without putting into recovery

We have been trying to bring up our custom board for the Jetson TX2 but after tampering with the device tree, the TX2 is unable to boot up, even on the development kit. The LED next to the PCIe turns off after I power on and I cannot boot into recovery mode.

Is there a way I can flash a new Jetpack on the TX2 or do a reset to get it to work again?

Thank you.

If you can get recovery mode to show up via lsusb from the host, then you can flash. The micro-B USB cable should allow the host to see something via:

lsusb -d 0955:7c18

Without this flash cannot occur.

The problem is that I cannot get into recovery mode. I have tried multiple times. Is there really no other way?

A bootable system can possibly use this:

sudo reboot --force forced-recovery

For a system which can’t boot and cannot start recovery mode manually I see no way to save the system. :(
