I forget the password of my nvidia developer kit and my pc is un able to read the card
The SD card is not encrypted. If you monitor “dmesg --follow” on the host PC you are reading the SD card on, what do you see when you plug in the SD card?

There isn’t any kind of recommendation for “cracking” the password. You can reset a password with some effort, but the SD card itself is not encrypted. Basically, if you were to create a new SD card, and then use the l4t_create_default_user.sh program on that SD card, then the password related files could be copied over the SD card (this is not entirely straightforward).
