GDM Freezes on startup

Basically when I boot up into my Linux install, there is a chance that GDM freezes and I can only see the gray backgroud and the mouse cursor, which is frozen and I can’t move.

This doesen’t happen every time, only some times, and I don’t know what causes that.

I’m on the latest Ddriver 570.133.07 and GNOME 48.

If anyone else has this problem then comment on this thread, as this issue is super annoying.

Did you try to disable GSP firmware through kernel module option?
The driver can be forced to disable use of GSP firmware by setting the kernel module parameter NVreg_EnableGpuFirmware=0.

I didn’t because I use the open module of the driver
