GeForce RTX 2080 TI display suddenly freezes

Since a few weeks my graphics display suddenly freezes (irregular) due to a graphics card issue, see the crashlog attached. The system has been working without any issues for a few years, even with the software that was installed when the problem occurred the first time. Meanwhile I fully upgraded my system from Fedora 39 to Fedora 41 with all the latest fixes and upgrades, the problem however remains.
I do not notice any thermal issues, the workload of the card is well below 50%, the fans are quiet and the card temperature is around 30C. When the issue occurs the system itself is still running and can be accessed remotely, only the graphics does not work any more. Then rebooting is only possible with a forced power cycle.
Do you have any suggestion on how to resolve this issue? It is very annoying.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Best regards,
Harrie
