Hello friends,
My Geforce RTX 4060ti is about 4 months old now and it is starting to rev up to 2700rpm fan speed once the computer has been running for about 10/15 minutes (regardless if I boot up a game or not.)
I tried re-seating it in its slot and also using a different PCIE power cable.
With NVIDIA Geforce’s performance monitor, I’m able to get the fan to go from 2700-4k rpm (30%-100%).
With MSI afterburner it will only let me control 2 of the 3 fans. (the first fan stays at 2700rpm)
Doesn’t 2700 rpm seem like a little bit overkill?
Also, I’m concerned about the lifespan of my unit if the fans are always blasting!
Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thank you!
