Hello!
I’ve been trying to figure out what’s going on here for several hours and I think I’m stuck. Any advice you can share would be much appreciated
Primary Issue
- GPU powers on (fans spin)
- No video output from any GPU port (DisplayPort or HDMI)
- System functions normally when using integrated graphics
- GPU is not detected by the operating system
System Configuration
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
- Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-P
- RAM: DDR5 6000 (32GB / ~30GB usable)
- PSU: Phanteks AMP GH 750W
- OS: Pop!_OS
Hardware Checks Performed
- GPU fully seated in PCIe slot (audible click confirmed)
- PCIe power cables fully connected (dedicated PCIe cables used, not daisy-chained)
- Tried all GPU display ports
System Behavior
- System boots successfully using CPU integrated graphics
- System remains stable without GPU installed
- No crashes, restarts, or instability when GPU is removed
- GPU fans spin on power-on
BIOS / Firmware
- Updated motherboard BIOS to latest non-beta version
- Cleared CMOS multiple times
- Forced PCI-e slot to Gen3 mode
OS-Level Testing
- Successfully booted into Linux live environment
- System fully functional using integrated graphics
- Ran lspci | grep -i nvidia with no results
- About page in settings only identifies AMD Ryzen in Graphics
