We are looking for some application (GROMACS) specific help.
We are running GROMACS on NVIDIA T4, but the application keeps failing to set clock speed on T4 with the error “Cannot change application clocks for Tesla T4 to optimal values due to insufficient permissions. Current values are (5001,585), max values are (5001,1590).
Please contact your admin to change application clocks.”
We can manually set the clock speed without any issues using “nvidia-smi -ac 5001,1590”. And GROMACS works fine.
If we leave it to GROMACS to handle it, it gives the error.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how to fix it or does anyone have the same issue?
