I just ported my app from CUDA 1.1 + CUDPP-rel3_2_gems
to CUDA 2.0 beta + the CUDPP 1.0 alpha.
CUDPP has improved nicely, and most importantly my app is more stable. I’ll try to find out why it isn’t stable under 1.1 and post a bug report, but so far I’m not certain what’s going on.
I’m running Ubuntu 8.04, and it works fine even though 2.0 isn’t supported. At least it seems to work fine.
This is intended as a heads-up. Going to 2.0 isn’t terribly risky, and it isn’t terribly hard either.
