GPIO mapping on LCD_TE signal

Hi,

We are trying to reuse the LCD_TE pin (A25) as an GPIO, however from the pinmux file, “Jetson_TX1_Generic_Customer_Pinmux_Customer_Release.xlsm”, we don’t find there is much information on LCD_TE pin, and wonder it could be mapped as an GPIO?

Thanks

Hi TKAI,

Unlike the TK1, the TX1 has limited IOs pins (whereas on the TK1 each pin could be used as GPIO or interrupt).
It seems LCD_TE can’t be configured as GPIO.
Maybe in further release of the pinmux it will…
A lead to test it would be to patch the .dtb and see if you can work around with some software “manual” configuration.

Regards,
Ale

In tx1 dts pinmux file, the LCD_TE appears to be on GPIO port Y, 02 pin.

Hi TKAI,

LCD_TE can not be set as GPIO as pinmux file configuration, so better not to use it as GPIO even if you can set it to work manually.
