# GPU 4070 driver doesnt work on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

Hello everyone,  
After upgrading from 22.04.5 to 24.04.1, the system does not recognize the GPU, GeForce RTX 4070.

Following, I am providing the results of various checks I performed on the system. Attached is the nvidia-bug-report.log.

nvidia-smi  
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.
