Hey, well with the new driver, we can get the number of procs on the beta cards … or can we ?
From my card i get 30 as the number for multiProcessorCount. If so then the performance improvement isn’t as expected (mind you the cards clocks are very low and the driver is a beta).
What do the rest of you think about the performance of the cards ? and how many procs do your cards say they have ?
With the new driver :
- Im still getting a profile of no incoherent reads or writes.
- I can’t extend my desktop to the card, i get a funny -1,-1 resolution.
- kernel calls are again asynchronous meaning after calling a kernel the cpu goes on not waiting for the gpu to finish.
