I hope this is the right place to post this question, NVIDIA support pointed me here.
I have a GT630 Rev 2, lspci reports:
VGA compatible controller : NVIDIA Corporation GK208 [GeForce GT 630 Rev. 2] [10de:1284] (rev a1)
From what I found on this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_PureVideo all the GK208 cards support VDPAU feature set D. But looking up my PCI-ID on this page http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86_64/340.58/README/supportedchips.html lists my ID 1284 as feature set C.
I run this card in my Ubuntu MythTV setup. I’m looking to purchase a 4K tv and I’m trying to figure out if this card will support VDPAU at 4K. From what i understand feature set D does but C doesn’t.
Also I read that the newest NVIDIA drivers support 4k@60Hz with 4:2:0 on Kepler. Does the Linux driver support this?
