Hi , team,
I am noticed NVENC h264 input is 1920*1080
Encodes content for Internet, common SD and HD formats up to dual streams of 1920 x 1080.
But i found /usr/local/driveworks-2.2/tools/capture/recorder can recorder 3848x2168 files. how can it do this?
Stream #0:0: Video: h264 (Main), yuv420p(progressive), 3848x2168, 30 fps,

Dear @wangxuhui1,
But i found /usr/local/driveworks-2.2/tools/capture/recorder can recorder 3848x2168 files

Does that mean, you modified any rig files? What is the used camera module?

Hi @SivaRamaKrishnaNV , i modified nothing, I am using Entron F008A120RM0A camera module.

Any Way NVENC can support 4k enc/dec ? We have 8 4k cameras

Hi @wangxuhui1 ,

It’s a document issue. You can find nvmvid_enc sample application document states 3840×2160.

From hardware perspective, it is okay. But we haven’t tested it.

OKay, got it . So the vp9 and h265 support 3840*2460 too?

H.265 supports up to 3840x2160 which is correctly stated in Video Encode.
I’ll check VP9 and update you. Thanks.

Hi @VickNV thanks, I have tested vp9 and h265 for 3840*2160,.They both worked.

Thanks for providing your result.
