[Hardware]Dose P2597_B02 reference design in the M.2card on the PCIe design correct?

The TX1 reference desig on M.2 card “page 10_M.2 KEY E” connect is:
M2 CARD(pin num)------------->TX1 MODULE(pin num)

PERPO(35)------------------->|PEX1 TX_P(E41)
PERNO(37)------------------->|PEX1 TX_N(E42)

PETPO(41)------------------->|PEX1 RX_P(H41)
PETNO(43)------------------->|PEX1 RX_N(H42)

But in the M.2 specification PCIe (PCIe_M 2_Electromechanical_Spec_Rev0 7_11272012), PERx on the M.2 card should be connected to the receiving end of host, PETx signal should be connected to the transmitter host

Here is a quote:
IMPLENTATION NOTE: Lane Polarity
By default, the PETp0 and PETn0 pins (the transmitter differential pair of the connector) shall be
connected to the PCI Express transmitter differential pair on the system board and to the PCI
Express receiver differential pair on the PCI Express M.2 Card add-in card. Similarly by default,
the PERp0 and PERn0 pins (the receiver differential pair of the connector) shall be connected to
the PCI Express receiver differential pair on the system board and to the PCI Express transmitter
differential pair on the PCI Express M.2 Card add-in card

I think “system board” is the TX1 Module

Hi mentorliu,

It is a pin name issue of M.2 KEY E connector, the pin name of connector is named as PCIe card pin…

PERP0 (35) should be PETP0
PERN0 (37) should be PETN0

PETP0 (41) should be PERP0
PETN0 (43) should be PERN0

These are fixed in latest schematic, will update to download center soon.
