If you can dual-boot it into Ubuntu, that should be just fine for running JupyterLab and training some DNN’s on. I have an i7-6700K (32GB) + GeForce 1070M (8GB) laptop that I use for training large models/datasets on. But mostly I just use the Jetson for training smaller datasets of a few thousand images.
I will follow-up with you in your other topic about the Jupyter issues you are having with Nano 2GB. Let’s keep that discussion in that thread.
