after capturing the HDMI output of the TX2, I have noticed that the transmitted values are modified for the Red, Green and Blue color components.
the modification is by a vlalue of one for colors between 211 and 254 and for 12 (output 11) and 15 (output 14).
I have downloaded L4T 28.2.1 (could’t find the 28.2 version) and examined dc.c to find a LUT which will explain these color modifications.
I have updated to l4T 32.1 and the result is the same.
on the Xavier I see different values for the Green, and Blues (it may be that a reduced LUT is used)
help would be appreciated to remove the color modification for the TX2.
