Help! Experiencing Lag Issues While Playing GTA 5 on My Gaming Curved Monitor

Hey fellow gamers,

I need some advice and assistance regarding a frustrating problem I’ve been facing recently. I’m an avid GTA 5 player, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the game on my new gaming curved monitor. However, I’ve noticed that I’m encountering lag issues during gameplay, and it’s really impacting my overall experience.

Here are some details about my setup:

Gaming Rig: (8GB and 276GB SSD)
Monitor: (Window 10)
Graphics Settings: (Ultra HD)

Despite having a relatively powerful gaming rig, I’ve noticed occasional stutters, frame drops, and input delays while playing GTA 5. This is especially surprising to me because I don’t face similar issues when playing other games on this setup.

I’ve already tried a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem, but with little success. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Updated Graphics Drivers: I made sure my GPU drivers were up to date, hoping it would fix any compatibility issues.

Lowered Graphics Settings: I tried reducing the in-game graphics settings to see if it improved performance, but it didn’t make a significant difference.

Checked Temperatures: I monitored my CPU and GPU temperatures to ensure that overheating wasn’t causing the lag, but they seem to be within normal ranges.

Verified Game Files: I used the game’s platform (e.g., Steam) to verify the integrity of GTA 5’s files, in case there was a corrupt file causing the issue.

Despite these efforts, the problem persists, and I’m at a loss as to what to try next. I’m hoping some of you experienced gamers out there might have encountered a similar issue or know of potential solutions.

If you have any suggestions, tips, or fixes to help resolve this lagging problem, please share them with me. I’m open to trying anything that might get me back to a smooth gaming experience in GTA 5.

Thanks in advance for your help, and happy gaming!
