Help on Paint extension tool

Hi Omniverse team,

I previously created a usd layer for my foliage in a project, I remember I was able to use paint tool to help scatter my foliage and also erase them in the same session. However when I open up the project today and wanted to erase a part of the foliage I was not able to do it. Is this as intended or something of a bug ? Thank you .

I find out the issue is that you would need the same brush(the same asset) to erase the existing painted items.
