Host Components Installation on Host pc

I had tried to flash JetPack 4.3 or 4.4 to AGX Xavier using sdkmanager(1.3.0-7105).
I don’t want to install host components on my host PC (ubuntu18.04) because I share the host pc with my colleagues.
Is it mandatory to install the host component on the host PC?

Hi hkada,

That’s suggested for developing your application.
If you just want to do a trial, and install some application on device directly, then you can consider not to do the host installation.

Yes, I will develop directly my application on device .
So, in my case, I need not to install host components on host pc.
Is my understanding is correct ?

It isn’t always obvious from the GUI, but you can simply uncheck those items.
