Right clicking on a material brings up an option to “select bound objects”, an action not available on the hotkeys editor. Is there a way to bind it to a keyboard shortcut or a button?

Yes you are correct. Thank you for pointing out this missing option. I will let the dev team know and they should be able to add. Sadly, I do not know of a way to assign a keyboard shortcut to an action, not listed in the Hotkey editor. I believe we will have to add it for the next release. Our apologies. At least it is quick to select with a right click, but it should be listed.
Thank you Richard. I thought EDIT-REPEAT (control+R) might work, but I have been unable to get that command to work so far.
