how do I install CUDA (and other dev kits) without flashing

I have a new Jetson, and I just flashed its memory using the Tegra-Linux R24.2 packages.
I now get the Ubuntu screen on my monitor; I updated the Jetson Linux using apt-get, and so on.

I notice that the all-in-one Jetpack 2.3 includes the Tegra-Linux flashing procedure.
I would rather not go through the flashing again;
I would rather focus on the development kits at this point.

What is a good way to proceed?

Thanks…

The flashing part is optional…just don’t check it. You should be able to pick software installs without the flash part (JetPack is not the flash app…JetPack is a front-end to the flash.sh script plus additional package installs).
