How does the NVidia G-SYNC Pendulum Demo toggle G-Sync

The NVidia G-SYNC Pendulum Demo (Download NVIDIA Tech Demos) toggles G-Sync. How does it do this? With NVAPI? Can’t be using NvAPI_GSync_EnumSyncDevices since this is for Quadro cards only. How does it do it for GeForce cards?

Our technical team informed that NvAPI SDK does not have an API to toggle the GSync state programmatically.
