How is the GPU wired into the Nano? PCIe?

I thought the GPU on the NANO was a pci device but lspci shows only a bridge and the ethernet card:

lz@jetsonnano:~$ lspci
00:02.0 PCI bridge: NVIDIA Corporation Device 0faf (rev a1)
01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 15)

Where is the USB and GPU?

Hi @me0bssl, the GPU on Jetson is integrated into the SoC, and it communicates with the rest of the chip directly over the memory bus. It shares the same physical RAM with the CPU and rest of the SoC. Unlike discrete GPUs like you would insert in your PC, it is not a PCIe device and doesn’t have a PCIe connection because it is “hardwired” into the chip (so to speak). So it doesn’t show up under lspci because it’s not a PCIe device.

Similar thing for the USB controller - it’s not a PCIe-based USB controller. The Nano’s USB controller is a hardware block that is part of the SoC silicon.
