How many CUDA accessible multiprocessors are there on the new 9600?

The literature indicates that there are 64 stream processors. Does that mean that there are actually 8 multi-processors which CUDA sees as 64 processors?

There is a bit of a disconnect between the table in CUDA doc which discusses the multiprocessors per card with 8 processors per multi-processor and the stream processor count in the new product brochure.

Yes, each multiprocessor has 8 stream processors.
For this particular card, there are 8 multiprocessors (64 stream processors)
