How separate two inferenced labels that overlap with each other when we run deepstream-reference-app?

HI hope you doing well.

I have trained the yolov4 model for custom data on the TAO tool kit.
but when making inferences I got two labels at the same position so the background label is not visible.
Also, I got numeric numbers with labels.
I am using this config file for the application.

The output on the live stream was like this and how to solve this by changing config file.

  • object detection classes

    1. person

Please also tell about the numeric values and how to hide these values and separate labels.

If you use config file to run the pipeline, you cannot change the position of the bbox. But you can try to set the text-bg-color to transparent.
You can try to not set the tracker to remove numeric values.

Thank you @yuweiw

I will set tracker group

[tracker]
display-tracking-id=0 # become disable

and the background of the text to be transparent.

The Answer for Overlap Labels.

just open labels.txt file and add spaces to that label that are behind the seen or overlapped by other label.

then run sudo deepstream-app -c deepstream_source1_detect.txt

and it will work like charm, you can add more space to that label if you want and check again if it is enough or not
