How to assign custom source-id to buffer?

• DeepStream Version 6.4

I’d like to do exactly the same thing as in this post from a Deepstream python sample :
Post 277852

Could you provide a way to do this?

Please provide complete information as applicable to your setup.
• Hardware Platform (Jetson / GPU)
• DeepStream Version
• JetPack Version (valid for Jetson only)
• TensorRT Version
• NVIDIA GPU Driver Version (valid for GPU only)
• Issue Type( questions, new requirements, bugs)
• How to reproduce the issue ? (This is for bugs. Including which sample app is using, the configuration files content, the command line used and other details for reproducing)
• Requirement details( This is for new requirement. Including the module name-for which plugin or for which sample application, the function description)

  • RTX 3060
  • DS 6.4
  • Using Docker
  • NVIDIA-SMI 535.161.07

I want to do the exact same thing than what is done for Post 277852 for Python Deepstream sample

you can use the similar method. Here you can set a custom name to padname.

I don’t want to update the padname.
I want to update source_id. The value is currently 0;1;2;3;… It is not something like "sink_%u" %i

There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue anymore. Hence we are closing this topic. If need further support, please open a new one. Thanks

as said in the topic mentioned in the issue description, framemeta’s source_id is set in nvstreammux plugin. the index in padname will be regarded as souce_id in nvstreammux .
