How to boot first time?

Hello everyone,

I want to boot my jetson tx2 very first time, but I don’t have a display where I can connect jetson tx2 with it. Does anyone have an idea how can I do SSH with jetson Tx2?

Is it possible to boot the jetson Tx2 first time without display attachment?

Thank you!

Yes, if you can figure out a way to get its IP address.
The Jetson will use DHCP to acquire an IP address, so if you can look at the logs for your DHCP server (which may be your router, if you’re in a small office / home environment) then you can see what IP it got.
Then log in with username “nvidia” and password “nvidia.”

Note that many of the code exsamples hard-code using the locally attached display, because that’s what the local GPU uses, so you may have a hard time doing certain kinds of development, depending on what it is you want to do.

Serial console would also work, but you’d have to have the right cable. See:
