How to configure a Wi-Fi card over PCIE1 on Orin NX?

Hi nvidia team,

I’m currently working on a custom carrier board for Orin NX platform. This carrier board has a M.2 Key E connector on PCIE1 so that we can plug an Wi-Fi card.
I know that M.2 Key E can support bluetooth, wi-fi and even sdd.
Do I need to make a SOM side firmware customization to make that M.2 Key E port handle the Wi-Fi card? Or it should be plug an play?

In case we wanted to use a bluetooth card in the future, it would need some other customization from the firmware perspective?

Hi,

You can put it on the Orin Nano devkit M.2 key E first and see if it can work. Sometimes it is card specific issue but not the slot design.
