How to configure Thor for 100 Gbe

Hello everyone,

could anyone please advise how to configure Jetson Thor to support the full 100 GbE speed?

My setup includes:

  • Jetson Thor

  • NVIDIA DGX Spark

  • NVIDIA Mellanox MSN2010

  • QNAP TVS-AIh1688ATX with a dual-port 100 GbE network card

My goal is to connect all of these to create a high-speed AI network and to have Thor and DGX work together seamlessly.

It was a bit disappointing to discover that this isn’t just a plug-and-play setup — apparently, it’s not enough to simply connect the interfaces with a SFP28 100 GbE cable like regular Cat7 Ethernet. It seems that a kernel-level configuration or specific driver setup might be required to enable Thor’s full 100 GbE performance.

Is there any documentation or example configuration that explains how to do this?

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Default setting is only 10G for each port on Thor devkit.

Need to follow below document to modify files to enable 25G for each.

However, due to known issue, currently only about 17G for each port is possible.
