How to create a Target disk image and restore it?

Hello,
after a development directly on target (both Tegra-A and Tegra-B), i want to save a snapshot of current system (disk image) for backup purposes.
Other than i want to reload disk image on another Drive PX2 (both Tegra-A and Tegra-B) with identical hardware.
How can i do it?

You can use docker to install your softwares and create a image from it.

thanks for your reply.
So, if i understood correctly you are saying to start from a base image for NVIDIA Drive PX2, install in this image my softwares and then copy the image. After that export the modified image into another PX2.
Can you confirm it?
In this case, can you point out if a specific base image exist for my system:
Gnu/Linux - Ubuntu 16.04 - 4.4.38 - arm - aarch64
and how can i download it?
