How to create Xform at USD root

I can’t seem to create a prim like an xform next to an existing “World” prim. It will always end up within “World”, not next to it.

Funny, I remember having done this before.

Any advice welcome.
Bruno

Ah found it. It works when I remove the “Default Prim” from World before.

Hi Bruno,
When you create the Xform it will indeed go under the Default Prim by default. However, even if you still have the Default Prim set to the World prim, you can still unparent it (Click on the Xform + Shift + P - or Edit → Unparent). This is will remove the Xform from “World”'s children.
So in theory you don’t need to unset the Default Prim

Thanks Teresa!
