How can we enable eDP (Multi-SST Operation) for the panel that requires it?

Hi,

please refer to the software feature here. We only support MST but don’t guarantee multiple- SST.

Also, there is nothing you can do in enabling/disabling some display function on Orin as most of them are not open source.

Is there some dts settings that we can change to set the DP into eDP signal?

Because eDP MSO in eDP 1.4 is not supported in DP, (different from MST)
simply connecting the mainlink from DP to eDP would not work,
so I wonder if we can change the DP signal to eDP signal and test it out.

I need further check about this request internally. You are the first one asking about using eDP on Orin to replace DP.

May I know the reason you have to use eDP instead of DP?

We have panels that require MSO feature which is only supported in eDP 1.4 spec. And we are searching for a platform to use them.

No, there is no method. We actually don’t support eDP on Orin.
