Hi there,
I’m using Jetson Xavier and Ubuntu 18.04. I want to use my splash screen to replace the default one. I read the post below :
Hi, I am looking to see if there’s a simple way to apply a splash screen during boot process that can persist through until the module automatically logs in and an app launches. I have played about with changing the boot arguments in extlinux and applying a plymouth splash but this only lasts maybe a second before I get a lengthy black screen. I did however see one of the devs mention that there will be some splash integration with bootloader, is there any info/documentation on this ?
Many than…
Someone said it would be supported in certain release, but I could not find it in current documentation. Could someone shed some light on this? Thanks a lot.
Tom
If you are using jetpack release after 4.4, then it shall have the tool inside it.
Wayne,
Thanks for the quick reply. Is it possible to present an animation (like some dynamic GIF file) instead of static pictures?
Unfortunately, this is not supported.
