How to enter safe mode during startup in Linux of Orin NX?

I changed the permissions of usr lib to 777 and now my sudo command doesn’t work. I didn’t set a root password initially. Can I modify the root password through safe mode during startup?

No. If you want to preserve what you have, then likely you need to clone, edit the clone, and then flash with the repaired clone. That does take a lot of time and disk space on the host PC, unless your rootfs happens to be an SD card. In that case it is easy to put the SD card on a Linux host PC, change permissions, and then it should “just work”. Otherwise you’ll end up just flashing the whole system.

OK,thanks.I have already flashed the whole system!
