I use the method below to build kenel and add my own driver ,but after I copy Image to my tx2.I find there is something wromg with my driver and Linux cannot startup. can I enter recovery mode and reflash the Image only ? the Jetpack install cost too long.
http://www.jetsonhacks.com/2017/03/25/build-kernel-and-modules-nvidia-jetson-tx2/If you are concerned about losing data, then clone the rootfs, edit it on loopback, then reflash it with that edited clone. There is no way to get around this taking a lot of time.
Normally if you want to test kernels out you’d get a serial console cable…then add extra entries in extlinux.conf for picking a configuration at boot time via serial console. I don’t know of an easy way to put the original Image file back in place, especially not without serial console.
