How to implement traffic flow statistical analysis

I use the deepstream-occupancy-analytics code to get people flow statistics. I saw that the author adapted it based on deepstream-test5-app, and realized the function of people flow statistics. Can the statistics of car flow be realized, and where should I modify it?
