How to keep the original system directory and files in OTA

Hi,
I want to upgrade from JP5.1.4 to JP6.2. I want to keep the /nat_env directory and /etc/netplan/03-wifi.yaml in the JP5.1.2 device. How can I modify it?

/nat_env is a custom partition. /etc/netplan/03-wifi.yaml is the wifi configuration file (the content of 03-wifi.yaml is different for different devices, so I want to keep it).

Hi wxsrite,

Are you using the devkit or custom board for Orin NX?

Image-based OTA update would not touch the custom partition so that this custom partition would be preserved after update. Please just notice that you should use the similar partition layout including that custom partition when you are using JP6.2 to generate the OTA payload.

You can specify the path of the data to be preserved in ota_backup_files_list.txt. before generating the OTA payload. Please refer to Backing Up and Restoring Files on the APP Partition for details.
