Adding directly to the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file cannot take effect. The card still works.
Two identical nvidia cards are connected to the ubuntu machine at the same time, how to add one of them to the blacklist. Cannot uninstall the driver, make sure one of them is available.
