how to poweroff an idle Connectx-6 to prevent overheating ?

I tried pci remove, rmmod mlx_core KEEP_ETH_LINK_UP_P1=0 and AUTO_POWER_SAVE_LINK_DOWN_P1=1 without success

Thank you for posting your inquiry on the NVIDIA Networking Community.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to shutdown our adapter when plugged into a PCI bus. That feature is not available on our adapters.
