How to program 'battery recharging' on Jetson TX1?

Hello,

I have a custom carrier board that uses this chip http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/bq24735.pdf. I was wondering whether anyone could provide me with some guidance or reference materials to better understand how to program/implement the recharging specs for batteries? Thanks for the help.
