How to replace transformer and RJ45 Jack with RJ45 w/magnet product on TX2 carrier board?

Hi

We’re revising tx2 carrier board for our own purpose, so want to replace T1(transformer) and J5(RJ45jack) to RJ45 jack w/ magnet part. (RJMG2012119A0NR, www.mouser.com/ds/2/18/RJMG2012119A0NR-787680.pdf)

For this, should we add some circuitry(eg, RC filter,dc blocking caps… ) or just replace them?

Hi Alison,

Your link seems error. Anyway, basically if RJ45 has integrated magnet part, then no need to add T1. This needs you to query vendor for reference design.
