Hi everyone,
Who can help how to solve the problem of installation of NVIDIA driver when I type command in Ubuntu command line that did show error message as below:
$ nvidia-smi
“NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.”
Another problems:
$sudo prime-select nvidia
“sudo: prime-select: command not found”
$sudo nvidia-smi
“modprobe: ERROR: …/libkmod/libkmod.c:586 kmod_search_moddep() could not open moddep file ‘/lib/modules/4.4.0-18362-Microsoft/modules.dep.bin’
modprobe: FATAL: Module nvidia not found in directory /lib/modules/4.4.0-18362-Microsoft
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.”
