As shown in the image below, the leftmost section represents the state before closing. The middle section shows the state within two seconds after closing, where a ghosting effect appears in the red box. The rightmost section represents the state two seconds after closing.
Executing commands such as DeletePrimsCommand, CreatePayloadCommand, and TransformMultiPrimsSRTCpp may all potentially cause similar issues.
Yes this is normal and expected. The real-time RTX renderer is very fast, but it still needs some frames to properly “clean up” from the object deletion. It uses a temporal denoiser to clean the image, and after you remove an object, or move it, it will need some frames to update correctly.
The good news is that you are using the OLD version of RTX Realtime. If you are using kit 106.5 or above, like 107.0, now you can go to PREFERENCES > RENDERING and turn on the brand new “RTPT Experimental Renderer”. This is the brand new combination of the speed of realtime (RT) and the power of Path Tracing (PT), so make a new super fast, super accurate RTPT hybrid.
I’m pleased to learn about this update. At the moment, I’m unable to proceed with the upgrade due to demonstration needs, but I will report back on the status after the upgrade is completed.
