How to upgrade cumulus linux 5.9 to 5.14? Is onie-install the only option?

I have carefully studied NVIDIA’s upgrade guide, and it does not provide clear instructions. It seems that onie-install is the only method. Does anyone have experience with this upgrade? Below is my understanding of the upgrade steps, is this the correct way to operate?

The web service is configured with Apache. Use sudo onie-install -a -i http://10.0.1.251/xxx.bin to get the image, then restart the switch. Configure DHCP. After the switch restarts, it can obtain an IP address based on the MAC address. Log in to the switch and restore the configuration.

yes this approach will work but you might want to consider having console access to the device instead of relying on DHCP.
In one upgrade i did, there was this issue with the password and the switch needed to be rebooted.

btw, 5.11 has eol 2027, while 5.14 has eol in 2026.
